We have an exciting opportunity with one of our esteemed clients in the federal health IT sector. They are currently looking for an experienced Developer to join their team for a greenfield development project under a multi-year contract.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinker, capable of generating innovative concepts and actively participating in their execution to cultivate an atmosphere of innovation and collaboration. They will possess substantial expertise in contemporary Dev Stack technologies and methodologies, encompassing Ansible, and Linux, as well as Consul, Nomad, Packer, Terraform, Vagrant, and Vault.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional travel required to the corporate headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, on a quarterly basis. Required Skills and Qualifications

6 – 10 years of experience in Software Development within complex, multi-site, multi-layered organizations, particularly in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.

2 years of expertise with Docker and various associated tools.

Proficiency in EKS, AWS services, Concourse CI (Bosh Deployments), Docker, Git, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL.

Minimum 2 years of experience in microservices development.

Previous involvement in Agile environments as a member of an Agile team.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving proficiency in areas like data refinement, process management, and user management.

Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Familiarity with collaboration tools, including Office 365, Outlook, Confluence, Jira, Slack, and MS Teams.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

Over 2 years of experience working in a CI/CD Solution environment.

Aptitude for iterative problem-solving and learning in an open-source context.

2+ years of experience with any modern DevOps Stack and processes, encompassing Ansible, Linux, Consul, Nomad, Packer, Vagrant, and Vault.

Familiarity with Golang and Rust.

A continuous commitment to ongoing technical and professional growth.

Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
